I started going to the Hillsburg Church of God in Hillsburg, IN in 1960 ( The church has since been renamed to Country Chapel). I went to church whenever the doors were open,  Sunday School, Church, Evening Services,  and Wednesday Prayer Meetings. When I was in tenth grade I was baptized and started thinking about what I wanted to do after graduating from Clinton Central High School in 1965. I prayed about it and decided to apply to Oregon Bible College in Oregon, Illinois. This was a big step because I would be the first child in my family to go to college.

    My application was accepted and in the fall of 1965 I went to Oregon Bible College. While there I met my wife Karla (Henrichsen). We started dating and were married in May of 1969. After graduation in 1970,  we began our pastoral ministry and have served churches in the following states:  Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, Virginia, Illinois, Missouri and Indiana (We did pastor two different times in Missouri in two different churches.

    We now live in Lafayette, Indiana and serve the Hedrick Church of God. We have been here for over 12 years. Our church is a loving church with many wonderful members.  I am honored to be their pastor and look forward to continuing the privilege of serving them.
